2700X owner: Upgrade to a 5700X, 5600X3D, or new build?

In January 2020, I built a gaming PC with a Ryzen 2700X.  I been using this for almost 4 years now, and last year upgraded the GPU from the Radeon 5600XT to the Radeon 6700XT.  It still runs great, but there is some stuttering in 1440p gaming at times when things are very CPU intensive.

The case is a tiny toaster sized InWin A1 Plus with a 650W GOLD PSU.  Working in the case is difficult, but my 2700X temps are still in check idling in the mid to high 30C range, low 40s when doing day to day stuff, and high 50s to low 60s when gaming for a while.

I would like the 5600X3D for its large VRAM cache, but worry about temps, especially if I recycle and reuse the AMD Wraith Prism cooler.

The 5700X seems like it might make more sense, due to its 65W TDP and I can reuse the Wraith on it.

A new build would be either a 7700 or 7900 (non-X) with a stock cooler, and reuse the Radeon 6700XT for now.  In terms of costs, it seems like it might be a bridge too far for me right now.

Thoughts?
