I have played my fair share of dead games, some of which were empty, some just had an a really low player count. Many were impossible to play after servers were shut down.
If I could choose one game to bring back from the dead, even just to play solo or with a close group of friends, I would have to choose Kingdom Under Fire 2.
It was an MMORPG RTS. It had a very robust action combat system, while also having some amazing troop controls. The game died so quickly that I feel it never had a chance. I put dozens of hours into it trying to play it solo, but in order to progress I needed help from other players. These other players were gone very quickly after launch.
It is unfortunate that a game that I loved playing so much died so quickly, and to top it off the servers were completely shut down so the time and money I spent buying the game ultimately was wasted.
Sadly, Kingdom Under Fire 2 went into the bin of games that I really enjoy, but literally cannot access or play any longer.

What game did you really get into that just lost it's player count rapidly, or got shut down, or both?
