Hello,
I was trying to find a good AMD laptop to buy and I have 2 questions.
Why is there no Ryzen laptops with higher resolution than 1920x1080 (FullHD) ?
Why there are no AMD detachable laptop/tablet combos?
Thanks,
1920x1080 is more than i need xD
i was looking for a laptop like Acer Nitro 5+ with only 1366x768 120hz display - but there is none
but AMD has done a better job with its OEMs this time - so maybe wait a little longer
Why can't you have FullHD 120hz display? You lose nothing and only gain...
Luckily there are FullHD AMD laptops nowadays. But perhaps the reason is that the lower resolution displays are perhaps more expensive due to low demand.
here a funfact - as a 15" display 1366x768 is "enough" - AND i dont need to scale down from FHD because i get higher framerates at 768p = more "crisp" details
but i have to say my eyes arent the best anymore - AND currently there is no 120hz 1366x768 panel i could buy; but i could buy a AUO 60hz panel and try to OC it to 100hz (like i did with the 60hz IPS of my Acer Nitro 5)
Because of the low demand and low durability, there is no very high-end ryzen notebook yet
Acer Nitro 5 with 2500u + RX560X is not high-end but also not low-class
its more like a good-budget-deal
