Razer Snap Tap Wooting Snappy Tappy Banned in CS2

In recent months a feature was released to the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro that allowed for faster counter strafing called Snap Tap.

This feature had been done to some extent before, however those implementations are widely accepted as cheating.

Following this feature implementation by Razer, Wooting asked their community if they should release their own version of the feature, to try to even the playing field for those without Razer keyboards that supported this feature.

The results indicated that Wooting should.

These features make many competitive games more difficult for those who had no experience with counter strafing, and cannot afford or don't want to purchase a new keyboard. Players who have a supported keyboard have an advantage over those who do not.

Valve has addressed this in a blog post stating that these features are not allowed in CS2.

What do you think about all of this?

*Edit: The images I posted earlier were about a different feature.*

Messed up and mistook Rapid Trigger for Snap Tap. Fixed the post. Sorry for the confusion.

This is interesting... As someone who loves playing FPS games, I always had issues playing against others with advantages (no matter how large).

For example, modded controllers were (perhaps still are) big for games like COD where you could make any weapon in the game fully automatic.

As far as slight advantages go, games like Apex Legends allow players to use a controller over mouse + keyboard. Some players were annoyed since players using a controller had aim assist (or something similar) built into the settings.

I don't think I have issues with the "banning" of these features across the board.

I tend to agree, since this feature is only implemented on a hand full of devices. If every keyboard had this feature my feelings would be very different. This just isn't the case.
