Radeon PRO WX5100 does not support 10 bpc with my Benq sw271

Hi,

I can't get 10 bpc with my new Radeon PRO WX5100.

I can select the 10bpc from the pull down menu of the Radeon driver, then the monitor turns black for a second and comes back with 8 bpc.

My system:

OS: Win10

Board ASUS X299

RAM 64GB

RADEON PRO WX5100 (driver version19.Q4.1)

Monitor: Benq sw271

Connected via DisplayPort

Thanks for any advice

Regards

Martin

I found this post, but it is of no help:

I tried different driver versions including the recommendes 19Q2 Version. But this makes no differenc. I believe the problem is not solved in general, it is still an issue.

If so, I had to return my Radeon graphic card.

Problem solved so far.

The windows 10 settings were set to 59Hz instead 60Hz. But the Radeon driver software showed me in system settings a refresh rate of 59,939Hz, so I didn't bother. After a long night I finaly checked windows setting, instead believing in Radeon drivers systems information, and found 59Hz. Who needs 59Hz? I changed it to 60 Hz, now its running with 10bpc. And the radeon driver shows now a refresh rate of 59,996Hz. The difference between 59,939Hz to 59,996 Hz makes the difference? I can't believe.....
