That's crazy the 7950x is sold out on the website. Everybody going big on AM5. Let's get it!
I think it took less than 30 mins , crazy indeed!
My aim is on 5900x it will be good substitute for my 2700x and maybe price will go down soon because of 7000 series.
7000 series will have 3d versions?
Hi! “I can neither confirm nor deny”
I don't mean to sound funny or sarcastic, but I honestly can't answer your question about the 3d version, I will get in trouble if I did. I hope you understand.
So in other words Yes, they are coming and no, they can't talk about it. 😛
I got mine! I'm waiting on the motherboard though.
@red5 Since you're building a AM5 station, what're you gonna do with that beefy 5800x/6900 XT build? lol
Lol, which one? I have 2. I’m actually probably going to use a 6800XT I have never used yet
@red5 I was asking what are you gonna do with the 5800x/6900 XT combo build. But since you threw in the other build as well, what are you gonna do with all these builds? lol
I'm rebuilding my PC gaming setup in my basement. The world's greatest all AMD-powered private PC gaming LAN. This is a picture of the old setup. I have a whole thread in Off Topic where I'm chronicling the rebuild. So far the system list is this:
PC1- Ryzen 5800X Radeon 6900XT liquid cooled
PC2- Ryzen 5800X Radeon 6900XT liquid cooled
PC3- Ryzen 5600 (gpu undetermined)
PC4-Ryzen 5600G Radeon 6600
PC4-Ryzen 3600X (gpu undetermined)
PC5- Ryzen 5500 Radeon 5500XT
PC6- Ryzen 2600X Radeon RX580
PC7,8,9,10,11 are all identical- Ryzen 2600X Radeon 5600XT
PC12-Ryzen 7700X Radeon 6800XT
Sheesh! What a beastly setup. Tryna get like you when I grow up.
Not surprised that they sold out, but I'm glad they did! Just shows how popular and desired AMD CPUs are right now.
Also, can we talk about how beautiful those boxes are?!
I'm not surprised either. The 7950 is crazy fast.
Here I go to start saving to upgrade my platform. 😁
Considering the support I've received since moving to ryzen/rdna 2 I'll probably go back to intel/nvidia for my next build.
Where are the X670 and X670E chipset drivers? Why has AMD not been posted yet?
I am truly looking forward to this leap forward. However, I most likely will hold off from buying one for now, because:
1) AMD MoBos are expensive, RAM verified for AMD is expensive.
2) I will need a beefier cooler to keep a 7900/50 cool. (running a 240 aio)
