Coming From An Unqualified Long Time G502 Hero User
Battery Life
- At 4k polling the battery lasts about 4 days.
- Mixed use, changing from 4k polling to 1k, when not gaming, lasts about a week.
- Charges from 0%-100% in roughly an hour and fifteen minutes.
Grip
- Best for palm grip, and relaxed claw.
- Feels smooth, while also able to be gripped with ease.
Shape
- The shape feels natural in the hand.
- Has a high hump.
- Waist is narrow, but not so narrow that it feels weird.
Weight
- 52g.
- Less than half the weight of my old G502 Heroes.
Quality
- Feels solid in hand.
- I felt no flex when using it.
Left And Right Mouse Buttons
- Clicks are crisp with little post and pre travel.
- Clicks have a good amount of resistance while not feeling too difficult or too easy to actuate.
Mouse Wheel
- Feels a little small compared to my previous mouse.
- Scrolling wheel feels tight and has a lot of resistance for the first week, but loosens to a more comfortable feel after.
- Scroll click feels okay, I feel like it could be better, but that is preference.
Side Buttons
- Clicking feels nice, and tactile.
- Not too much resistance, while not so easy to click that misclicks are a problem.
- Size, and placement feels perfect for my hand.
Long Session Use
- No pain in using for hours on end.
- Feels just right for my hands, 19cm from middle finger tip to wrist.
Responsiveness
- Feels very responsive with no noticeable input delay both wired, and wireless.
Use Case
- I have been using it as my daily driver since it arrived, and it can do everything I want it to.
- Handles competitive shooters, casual games as well as single player games perfectly.
Cleaning
- Picks up some dirt, but wiping it down, with a lightly damp rag, once a week is easy.
Software
- Could be better, but does the job.
- Easy to fine tune to my preference.
- Adjustable DPI.
- Motion Sync.
- Adjustable polling rate.
I can recommend this mouse for anyone looking for a nice wireless mouse to use for basically any desktop task as well as gaming.
- Disclaimer: I have only used a few mice, maining the Logitech G502 Hero. Mouse will not make you better at games. I'm still bad at every game.
