Direct buy not possible for all countries?

I'm located in Romania and when I tried to order from AMD directly on launch day, I could only select 'United States' during checkout, while filling out my billing address.

What gives? Is this a bug? I really don't want to use AMD's official partners because they're price gouging for over 100€, it's absurd.

What countries does AMD sell to directly, after all? I see no limitations, it's frustrating to not know and I'd prefer to buy directly.

In the Netherlands, we had one of the listed partners put up a 6800xt reference card for 1049+shipping. Aib cards are +300 euros on the msrp. Everyone is nuts.

Edit: they should tell us which countries are excluded from direct buy, would save us time.
