After several attempts to upgrade to the Fall Creator Microsofts latest Window 10 update, it would not fully upload and leaves a page saying: Your PC ran into a problem. I read on a blog there are many people having this issue when running AMD drivers, although, I have never had an issue until this latest update. The update went without a hitch on my laptop that runs Intel drivers. Has anyone got a fix for this issue? I purchased Reimage Scan and Repair, and have had several sessions with their tech support to no avail.

I have done an auto check on my driver and its running the latest version. 18.2.1.

Any help would be appreciated

Hello alm,

I don't know if you have tried this or not, but it is always a good idea to disable non windows services from within msconfig when running a windows update.  In msconfig, select the services tab and choose "hide all Microsoft services".  Then "disable all", reboot, and try your update again.  If it goes through, don't forget to go back into msconfig and enable the services again.

No I have not tried that. I have disabled my security and external hard

drive, but that made no difference. I am away from home now for 3 weeks, so

will give that ago when I return. Thanks for the tip.
