I'm in the market to do a build of a new computer with the following components:

1.  ASRock X470 Master SLI

2.  AMD Ryzen 2700x

3.  Corsair 32 GB 2666 Mhz

I've called ASRock tech people to determine if the - Integrated AMD Radeon™ Vega Series Graphics in Ryzen Series APU* will work with the Ryzen 2700x.  They were unsure.

So does the new Ryzen 2700x contain the necessary APU for this to work?

No, Ryzen 7 2700X is not an APU. It has no integrated graphics.
