AMD uProf Linux bug

I saw someone with a similar problem from a 2020 post with someone on ubuntu but it seems the issue is still around.

AMD uProf launches and the window is too large for the screen dimensions and the window cannot be resized. As a result most of the UI is hidden out of the screen area

This happened on Pop os 6.5.6 and uProf 4.1.424.

My native display is 1920*1200 which caused the issue. Also tested with 1920*1080 and the error occured again. I tried any number of odd display sizes and pretty much any smaller resolution works fine.

with 1440*900 or even 1280*1024 for example the application window appears sized correctly buttons visible and can be resized.

When the problem occurs the application itself is sized incorrectly and most of the text and icons that should easily fit on screen are streched offscreen.

Hi @dried_appricots

POP-OS is not officially supported by AMDuProf.
For smooth usage, we suggest you to use officially supported Operating Systems listed in Section 1.2.2 of AMDuProf User guide.

The GUI doesn't work and you're too lazy to fix it. Cool.
