windows / adrenalin software is installing ASUS driver to my XFX gpu

I have an older model, XFX Radeon 460 4gb edition (it is not an AMD 2gb version), the last usable driver was 24.1.1 but when it updates to the current driver for that model 24.3.1 it install an ASUS driver instead of a generic AMD driver compatible with XFX and other third-party reseller, and that IS NOT a simple name I can ignore, because is messing up HDR and completely disabling Freesync, as well as causing fullscreen games to go haywire, this is not something that was happening with a non-branded driver for a third-party GPU, I've tried DDU, tried manually deleting the driver's files, I tried forcefully replacing the files, still not dice, and thus I can't use any of the features and have degraded performance in some cases, someone help me do something about that

A number of users have reported Adrenalin misidentifying their older Radeon cards as ASUS rather than the true manufacturer since version 24.1.1, however it's an error in name only. It is not installing an "ASUS" driver instead of an "XFX" driver, the driver files are all AMD and the same for every RX 460 card regardless of manufacturer.
