Radeon won't let me record my screen when I either reinstall the recommended driver or the newest

So I used to update to the newest driver available, but recently found out that it wouldn't work anymore since the recording feature got messed up. I reinstalled the recommended driver, 20.11.2 released on 13/11/2020. That helped me at first, toggling Instant Replay, Record Desktop in combination with Record Desktop made the features work again. But they've stopped again now. I upped my drivers to the newest, but not recommended one, tried again, failure. Went back to the recommended driver, also failed. What do I do? Having Record Desktop enabled now makes my frames drop in game, and also doesn't actually record anything. In Windows the loading circle next to the cursor becomes visible every other second. It's like its trying to record, but doesn't succeed. I also dont see the notifications in the top right corner, where I usually saw Recording started or Replay saved. Already tried to report this problem with the AMD Bug Report Tool, but no response after filling it in twice. The video I made for that shows the cursor bugging out:

Hope someone can help, I love the ability to save clips afterwards of certain games instead of having to record everything and cutting it at places. Lovely feature if it works!

I upped drivers again, to 21.2.1 and now both features work again.
Hope it's like that for everyone, enjoy!
