Radeon won't launch

Hi

My Radeon software won't launch (21.5.2). Had this problem a week ago and was able to fix it using DDU. Uninstall and built in "clean" re-install option did not fix issue. It is now a week later and the same issue is back. Every time I try and launch it nothing happens. In event viewer an error is created each time. See below:

Event ID: 1000

Need permanent solution to this problem so i don't have to use DDU every week to fix it, thanks.

I found the cause of my issue was a game called Phantasy Star Online 2 new genesis on steam. Some how launching this game (and possibly its corresponding anti cheat software) permanently breaks the Radeon software requiring the 3rd party software DDU.

omg, I play pso2 ngs 2 and now that you pointed it out, I feel like my Radeon uninstalled itself after I played PSO2 NGs. It usually happens to me maybe after 30 mins of playing PSO2 NGS closing it and going afk and after maybe 20-30mins it uninstalls itself. been happening to me maybe around this tuesday or wed

Use DDU and stop playing the game. You won’t come across the issue again. I brought it up with AMD and they told me to take it up with the game dev lol. I was too lazy but feel free to get in touch with them / badger AMD
