Do I still need VulkanRT driver/software when using Adrenalin on Win 7?
On a computer with 64bit Windows 7 I installed in the past AMD Catalyst driver/software for my graphic card.
Later I switched to Adrenalin software.
I am now cleaning up this computer and wonder if I can uninstall (old, outdated) VulkanRT installation with files from 01.2017.
Is it still required even after migration from Catalyst to Adrenalin software?

Vulkan API is automatically installed by Adrenalin Driver package.
If you use DDU it should remove all traces of the AMD Driver package including any Vulkan API left over.
Most modern games now can use either Vulkan or DirectX12. Some games or apps require Vulkan API to be installed to work.
When you install the Adrenalin AMD Driver package make sure your computer Windows is fully updated via Windows Update and with the Internet disconnected and AMD Installation folder at C:\AMD is deleted BEFORE you update or reinstall any AMD Driver package.

So VulkanRT is a MUST and not just an optional AddOn (which can uninstalled later but leave the main AMD Adrenalin drivers)?
AMD cannot work without VulkanRT?
If it is absolutely required: Why is it not incorporated into the main Adrenalin driver resp. copied into the AMD driver installation directory?

See: https://techguided.com/what-is-vulkanrt/
As for "DX12 on Windows 7". There are very few games with that.
