I have the latest 23.2.2 WHQL suite installed. My system is Windows 11 Pro with latest updates.
What does this awsome program do? If it is not important, can I just disable it?
I found out something. It always crashes when the system tries to resume from sleep/hibernation.
Finally this problem is fixed in 23.12.1. I don't have any warnings/errors regarding this issue in event log for a long time.
its broken again as of 24.7.1
went to a driver from 2023 and it seems a bit better, amd, intel need to get their crap together its getting ridicious
ended up returning the gpu, I had just returned my intel arc a770 prior to buying the amd gpu since the intel gpu was also defective.
Not sure what is going on with gpu manufacturers but it truly seems like corners are being cut to provide consumers with a mediocre product in order to provide datacenters with AI gpus on good silicon while simultaneously screwing over end users with bad silicon that is known defective. I dont even blame powercolor or asrock for these defective gpus its pretty clear they have bad silicon to work with from both AMD and Intel who both use TSMC which sucks. I cant wait for the AI bubble to pop so consumers can get good products again.
