After an abortive attempt to use NVIDIA, I went with an AMD 6600 – which according to Apple, is compatible with my system. The card is recognised, but isn’t selectable from anywhere on the Mac – either via System Preferences or from within apps (specifically Blender). Does anyone have any ideas as to why?

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get the system to make the AMD 6600 available for use?
