Win 11, 13700k, 7900 xtx red devil powercolor, 32 gb, 1000w corsair psu with 3 separate PCIe cables supplying power to gpu, aw3821dw

Problem: When starting some games fullscreen exclusive, the computer will lockup if freesync is enabled.

Doesn't happen if starting windowed or if freesync is turned off. If I start game windowed, then I can switch to fullscreen exclusive no problems. Just a startup issue if starting fullscreen.

Apparently, this is due to the monitor. I think I could fix it if I could reduce freesync range, but CRU is not working the latest drivers: 23.1.1. I've seen mention that CRU doesn't work for 7900 GPUs right now too.

Any suggestions on reducing freesync range?
