Threadripper 3990X only using half of it...

I Have the threadripper 3990x and I have noticed that when I do renderings only is using 64 threads instead of the 128. Something wrong with my settings? or the software is not capable to use 128 threads?

Hi there, have you updated to the latest version of Blender? Can you share your workflow? In my testing, Blender does seem to use all the threads/CPUs (though I use the command line). I know there's an issue in the UI where it reports the wrong number of cores, but when you look at the task manager, it's clearly using all the cores.

arie71s, have you resolved this?  What version of W10 are you running - looks old.  Mine is 2004.19041.330.  Your task manager should show 2 sockets.  Please see this image from Anandtech:

Enjoy, John.
