Request for feature: Nodes in lights, primarily for light "gobo" projection
In Cycles you can add nodes to lights like a spotlight and thus project light "gobos" like in the attached screenshot. This is a good feature to have for creative lighting and should be separated from the materials on the object themselves. I have attached a screenshot of how it works in Cycles wich I find good. I have also attached a file/.blend from wich this screenshot was taken.
Is this something that can be easily added ? On the roadmap? Never?

We can do this for area lights, but not point lights (directional/point/spot)

Running blender add-on 2.5.17, what the op has asked for is still not possible in RPR from what I can tell, and especially with an animated texture. This is so easy in cycles and has been possible even in Blender Internal. Is there any way to accomplish this with RPR?
