I have a hp pavilion gaming desktop. With a Ryzen 5 3400g and dedicated gtx 1650. But the problem is that it says I have 8gb ram but 2.1 is reserved. My bios is uefi bios.

Try disabling UMA Framebuffer in the BIOS if it's present. Look for any other memory reservation settings in the BIOS that might be allocating a portion of your RAM. These could be for onboard devices or advanced features. Disable any unnecessary reservations. An outdated BIOS version might not be recognizing the full RAM capacity correctly id check, Check the HP website for your specific model and download and install the latest BIOS update.👈
