OS: Windows 10 pro 1803
Software: 3ds max 2020.1
ProRender version: 2.5.430
When rendering and using the denoiser machine learning I got a error that results in a crash.
The screenshot of the error is attached.
Also using render region puts out a very noisy result compared to a full frame (view) render.
Hi,
Could you provide System hardware information and Does this happen on a complex scene or Simple ?
Hi,
On this machine I have a gtx 1080 and i7-7700.
It happens even on a new scene with a box in it.
Both gpu or cpu separately.
I'll test later on my ryzen setup.
Thanks
Hi,
I was able to confirm on my side. this is actually a known issue but the crash is new. i will let the devs know.
Currently in 3ds max ML denoiser only works on AMD hardware.
Still not working "denoiser machine learning" in version 2.7.2.
I tried on my ryzen cpu and on my 5700.
I have same problem on macOS
MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017)
2,8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
eGPU Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB
Blender 2.90.1
ProRender 3.0.1
Prorender crashes no matter what I am using CPU, Internal Graphics or eGPU.
No matter what scene big or small
All the time the render ends with
ERROR I RIF call ContextExecuteCommandQueue(<pyrprimagefilters.Context object at 0xl2387fb90>, <pyrprimagefilters.CommandQueue
object at 0xl23822b90>, ccdata Void *' NULL>, ccdata Void *' NULL>, <cdata Void *' NULL>) returned error code <-3>
with error message: Please see logs for more details.
I have tried everything reinstalling, but it works only when I disable ML Denoiser
Hi, I have the same problem, Pro Render freezes when I turn on machine learning. How did you solve the problem?
Decision, I found a solution to run machine learning, for this you need to run 3ds max in compatibility mode with windows 8 as an administrator. PS work only in production rendering.
