Hello, which chipset drivers should be preferred, the chipset drivers from AMD or those from the motherboard manufacturer? I am using a Gigabyte X570 Gaming X motherboard and an AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X3D.

The chipset driver on the motherboard site would most likely be better since it has been specifically tested and used with that specific mobo.

I have that same question!  Trying to RMA a chip to AMD now and they require you to test it with the chipset from their site not MB site.  Definitely one of those questions that the answers will be split 50/50 on the ole interwebs....lol

The motherboard/mainboard vendor usually tests only some version and the version that is up-to-date when they release the board.

So yeah I go with the AMD version, more or less every time, unless some vendor leaks some stuff ahead
