Hello, I’ve had this issue for months that when I play MSFS in the Fenix A320, I experience system shut downs either during the approach phase of the flight or while loading into a flight. I’ve sent my system back twice now to PCSPECIALIST. On the first go they couldn’t replicate the issue and blamed it on software and on the second go they still couldn’t replicate the issue but replaced the PSU and graphics card. I’ve attached a link for a video showing my PC shutting down while trying to load an aircraft in MSFS. Please help.

alex8888, please post a screenshot of Ryzen Master (RM) running Cinebench R24 Multicore and tell us what your CPU cooler is. Thanks, John.

Hello, here is a pic of Cinebench running. I am using DeepCool AG400 Performance ARGB CPU Cooler. I cannot seem to replicate the issue with stress tests as they never make my CPU reach temps as they do in MSFS. My system should obviously be able to run MSFS. Saw a max temp of 80 degrees.

Sorry for the late reply. At the time I forgot to use RM but used Hardware monitor instead. If this is not helpful than please say. Temps can rise from 60 to 80-85. I’ve installed a new AIO since but am getting the same issue. The only way to somewhat control the issue is to turn my fans all the way up. Turning off core performance boost can also bring temps down but I don’t want to do that due to the performance lost I’ve seen.

apolgies if I’ve introduced any clarity problems, I’m trying to be as clear as I can with the issue but struggle with that at times. I’ve uploaded a video of RM and MSFS running. I find this websites media upload hopeless so I’ve attached an iCloud link of the videos. As the video shows my temps fluctuate a lot from the 50s to the high 80s, even to the 90s. I’ve had to turn all my fans to the max to do MSFS testing as it keeps turning my computer off. Apologies for any issues I’ve caused.

Thanks, alex8888. I suspect your cooler is not up to the task of cooling your processor. Your processor is 120 Watt TDP and maximum temperature is 89C. Please talk to your cooler vendor and see what TDP they claim to support. Maybe a model with two fans pushing/pulling. Thanks and enjoy, John.

apologies I thought I mentioned that I updated my cooler since. I’ve updated to the DeepCool LT720 360MM AIO. This should be more than ideal for my CPU. Sorry again.

Sorry, alex8888. If you can get a screenshot of RM close to the shutdown as possible, please do. Did you remove the plastic shield from the cold block? Is you pump running full speed (12 Volts)? I cannot read the videos you posted. Thanks and enjoy, John.
