5600x causes BSoD

Hello,

My PC specs are :

Mobo: Asrock b550m pro4
GPU: rx 6600xt
RAM: 16GB
PSU: 650W

My PC is randomly crashing(couple of times per hour) with/without BSoD.
What  I have tried:

  1. install latest BIOS version (2.90)
  2. formated PC to Windows 10 and 11
  3. use or not use GPU drivers.
  4. check ram and SSD health

After I checked all hardware and tried all the above, I replaced CPU 5600x with a 5600G and never had an issue again.

Then I took the 5600x and used it in an other build(the one I took off the 5600G) which have same specs as the above (MOBO,RAM, GPU) and again I had the same crashing issue.

So either the CPU is problematic and I need to return it, or this can be issued with any system configuration

Any ideas ?
Thanks

I would open a AMD Warranty to have the processor RMAed to be checked or replaced since it caused crashing on 2 different motherboards or PCs: https://www.amd.com/en/registration/warranty-services-portal.html?utm_campaign=gcc-rma&utm_medium=re...

Before opening a AMD Warranty Request first open a AMD SUPPORT - WARRANTY Ticket and see if they believe you have a defective processor or not from here: https://www.amd.com/en/forms/contact-us/support.html

Also since you have two identical PCs make sure that the RAM MEMORY you have installed is compatible with your 5600X processor.
