Upgrading my Ryzen 5 2600X to a Ryzen 7 2700X

Hi there,

I am thinking of upgrading my Ryzen 5 2600X to a Ryzen 7 2700X; and I was wondering if I will need to upgrade my PSU or any other components as well.

I currently have a 350W PSU

If you need to know any other components, please do ask.

hi, 350W is pretty low but if it's working now ...... 550W could be useful in case you have power problems after upgrading

maybe try to check if the total consumption of you pc is already reaching 350W with a watt meter ?

I would go with a 550 W minimum in every cases

why upgrading to a 2700x ? do you game ? what is your gpu ?
