Ryzen 7 5800x does not go up to 4.7 ghz

  • So basically My ryzen 7 5800x does not go upto 4.7 ghz(stuck under 3.8 ghz), even if it's 100 percent in power usage and CPU usage. I've tried a lots of stuff by enabling processor performance boost mode but it heats up my CPU. Just wanted to know how to unlock that boost clock without using the processor performance boost mode. I have Asrock 550m steel legend motherboard.

What cooler are you running on it?

What case are you using? How's your airflow?

You can't 'unlock' the boost clock without enabling boost mode.  The boost mode is what allows the CPU to boost past 3.8ghz.
