RAM Compatibility

The tentative component list I am preparing to acquire:

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/cgGnTW/gskill-trident-z-rgb-128-gb-4-x-32-gb-ddr4-4000-cl18-memory-...

I have received this comment about the memory I chose:

"my immediate concern you have selected there 4000mt/s that won't run 1:1 FCLK the memory controller will be running desync from the ram making performance worse something like 3600 16 18s crucial ballistix would be better and should run correctly"

Is this statement accurate?

if so, is the FCLK desync due to a limitation of the processor, or the motherboard?

Would either of these memories be better suited:

Check the memory compatible QVL on the motherboard website (there is also a limitation on using 4 dimm with certain speed/timings).

You could also check other users findings on the asus support forum.
