Hi,

Please is there any difference between two particular Ryzen 7 1700 pieces based on their production date? I mean, is there any kind of upgrade going on as time passes? For example - if one piece was built in, let’s say, in early 2017, and the second one was built in August 2018, wil both products be absolutely identical? Or the piece built in August 2018 will contain better materials, software, whatever, I do not know.

There was a difference between first and second production runs of the Ryzen 1000 series in the form of correcting a Linux bug, but otherwise no, performance improvements and such are put in on the next processor series.
