First you must understand that if you overclock your Processor you must have a CPU Cooler that can handle the extra heat generated by the overclocked processor. So each time you configure your overclocked Processor using AMD Overdrive you must check the temperatures to make sure it is not overheating. The Maximum Operating Temperature for your APU is 72.4C. Once it starts reaching or passing that temperature your APU will automatically start slowing down to prevent overheating and to keep it at or below 72.4C. If it can't, it will eventually shut down the computer to prevent Heat damage. If the APU is running above 72.4C but not to the point where it will shut down than the higher running temperature will lessen the life time of your APU.
