AMD B350 Gaming Plus and Pro Not booting at all after attaching heatsink

Hi Guys/Gals I am pulling my hair out on this one,

Had got my son the AMD B350 Gaming Pro motherboard and Ryzen 3 Chip with Amd Cooler but when i attach the heat sink to the back plate I get no power or anything to the motherboard, I have tested this on the AMD B350 Gaming plus also. The PSU is working fine so is all the other components. I have tested individually and have discovered its when the heatsink is screwed into the back plate it just seems dead. Any help will be truly appreciated thanks

No shorts it the same on both motherboards. I seen an article in tomshardware about Rizen chips and heat sink pressure issues. It’s defo when I screw heatsink in. If I just place heatsink on top works fine

mh - does the cooler or MoBo comes with any spacers?
because to high pressure can damage MoBo or CPU (or both)
