RX 6800 black screen

I recently bought a rx 6800 and whenever I try play any games it black screens me, I'm having the same issue as this person exactly :

"During gaming, all monitors go black, the GPU fans sometimes swing at full speed or remain at the same fan level, all lights are still on, the audio cuts off 4-5 seconds after that happens, then the lights turn off. I can't do anything except hard reset the PC.
I've mostly noticed this happening under heavy load (GPU usage 80-100%) especially with a video playing in the background. This is not mandatory as the black screen crash could happen randomly within 5-10 minutes of gaming"

I've also tried all the things he's mentioned. I've contacted the merchant but I'd like to know if there's a fix.

Specs :

ASRock Radeon RX 6800 Phantom Gaming D

Intel i7-12700k

MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4

32 GB 3600 Mhz RAM

Coolermaster ML240 Illusion

Corsair RM 750x PSU

Does each power connector on your GPU have it's own dedicated power cable that is not being shared with any other device and do not use the pigtail connections that come on PCIE 8 or 6 pin cables.

AMD GPU's can be very finicky when it comes to uneven power distribution.

Try moving the PCIE power cables to different ports on your PSU if you are running a multi rail power supply.

Also ensure that the HDMI or DVI cables going to your monitors can handle at least 50% higher FPS rates than you use.

I have found that using the AMD chill feature where you lock in max and minimum FPS helps avoid black screens and crashes that come with them.

I'm running a Power Color Demon RX 6900 XT and used to experience this same issues after I installed my GPU. I was using one of the pigtail PCIE cable connections. Since I changed that and use AMD chill in Adrenaline the problem hasn't returned.

My monitor is a ViewSonic 50" UHD 4K Smart Monitor. Standard FPS at 4K is 120Hz at lower resolution it runs up to 240Hz.

Yes when I experienced the black screens the only way to recover was a Hard Boot as well.

First thing is ..as already stated by @ThunderBeaver is make sure you are running separate power cables to each power input on your GPU

How are  your CPU/GPU temps?

IF you are using any kind of cable extenders in your case, try running power straight from the PSU to your various components

IF you are using a PCIe Riser Cable, try plugging your GPU straight into your motherboard

Make sure your BIOS is up to date on your motherboard

Go to Intel.com and run their driver update utility to make sure all your Intel giblets' drivers are up to date

Make sure you have good air flow throughout your case .. you have to keep those VRM's and Memory cool too

IF after all that you still have same issue .. THEN I'd try a different power supply
