Radeon RX 6800 power supply problems

Hello,

This is my configuration :

Processor : AMD Ryzen 5 3600 XT

MotherBoard : MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI

PSU : Seasonic Prime 850 Gold

RAM : HyperX Fury 16GBx2 3200Mhz

Graphic Card : ASROCK Radeon RX 6800 Phantom Gaming D OC

When I start the PC, a message appear : "Over current on your USB device!! The motherBoard will shutdown after 15sec". I try to search for ppl had same problems but.. No !
I would like if all my parts are compatible with my Graphic Card.. Or if it's a problem with GPU, CPU, MotherBoard or PSU..

Thanks !

Sound like a USB device connected is defective or shorting out.

I would disconnect all the USB devices except the Mouse or Keyboard and see if the Error message appears again when you power up the computer.

If it doesn't then start reconnecting one USB device at a time to determine which USB is causing the short.

Possibly a USB cable is damaged and causing a short when plugged in or maybe a USB device is going bad drawing more current than it should.

Do you have any USB port being used to charge up a device like a Cellphone or Headphones etc?

Could also be a bad USB port on your motherboard.

Found this Tech site that help troubleshoot the same error you are getting. Some I have stated already above: https://thegeekpage.com/fix-usb-device-over-current-status-detected-issue-in-windows-10/
