radeon adrenalin 19.5.2 GPU scaling problem

Ryzen 5 2400g cpu, 24 Gb ddr 4 ram, Radeon driver version 19.5.2, Samsung 24 inch curved monitor at 1920x1080 resolution, freesync on, gpu scaling on, Windows 10  version 1903.

Radeon software not remembering that gpu scaling is on. some old games playing half screen. everytime when i login to windows i must switch off gpu scaling and turn on again so the games play in full screen.

I even created a gaming profile to that game with gpu scaling option on. Even then game played in half screen.

After several hours of research, i found that in my Samsung monitor, the "picture size" option is disabled because i am using "free sync" option. I disabled "free sync" and set "picture size" as "wide or 16:9" and again enabled "free sync". Now all games playing in full screen by default after system restart. Hope this helps some other people.
