Radeon 6900xt maximum RPM?
Hello guys,
I own a Radeon 6900xt since launch, I set a custom profile almost immediately to keep it cool and remove those usage spikes with the old drivers.
This said, while thinkering with it, I noticed now that the max rpm of the fans are around 2944/2955, but the software shows a max scale of "4000" and even that sort of speedometer doesn't reach the maximum.
I opened up HWMonitor with the custom curve in AMD software set to 100%, and the PWM signal was in fact 89%, is this normal?
Cheers!

Were you ever able to find a resolution to this? I noticed the same thing today and have been looking for hours.

Yup, the answer is that is normal, the max rated speed of the 6900XT fans is in fact 3000 rpm, having it fluctuating between 2900 and 3000-something is ok (as any other fan, they have a margin around the max stated speed) and the PWM signal will reflect this.
So nothing to worry about!
