I am using a LG 34GK950F monitor with a Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT Nitro+ 8GB. The motherboard is an Asus Crosshair VI Hero with Ryzen 7 3700X.
In the AMD driver UI, it shows AMD FreeSync Premium Pro is enabled. After the monitor goes to sleep at the scheduled time, it wakes up with FreeSync disabled and an 8-bit display.
I am currently using Adrenalin 22.5.1, but have also tried the optional 22.8.2 - both have the issue. I don't recall when this issue started as I rarely use Freesync.
I can bring it back by disabling and re-enabling Freesync on the monitor or rebooting the computer. I have tried the other displayport on the GFX card.
I forgot to mention I have a second monitor that doesn't support Freesync attached. I assume that's causing the problem when the monitors sleep.
Is anyone aware of a fix for this other than preventing the monitor from going to sleep?
