Hi everyone! Pretty much what it says on the tittle. I have and AMD GPU that has 3 display ports and 1 hdmi, and two screens with only hdmi and vga so I want to plug one HDMI to HDMI and the other one Display port to HDMI (using an active adapter I have).
On the AMD gpu this does not work, on the NVIDIA card this does work, changing no parameter on any place.
Some more data:
Am I using the correct adapter? Yes. It's active, and is DP (gpu) -> HDMI (screen).
This is the setup:
- Two screens Samsung lf24t35 (1xVGA and 1xHDMI input)
- One DisplayPort to HDMI Active adapter
- One Nvidia RTX 3060Ti from Palit (1xHDMI 2.1 3xDisplayPorts 1.4a)
- One AMD RX 6700XT from Asrock (1xHDMI 2.1 3xDisplayPorts 1.4)
Tests, I did these on Linux Debian with AMD drivers, Linux Debian Live with no drivers and Windows 11 with AMD drivers:
- Reseted screens by unplugging them the whole night.
- Checked refresh rate on the screens (not on windows or linux display options) (60hz on both)
- Tried using screen A with hdmi and screen B with the adapter display port to hdmi.
- Tried using screen B with hdmi and screen A with the adapter display port to hdmi.
- Disabled/enabled CSM (There are some threads suggesting it).
