Hi there. I am hoping to get some help here, from a fairy-god helper if you will. I am having a problem with my desktop display looking a bit dark, and well just rotton. My games are running just fine.. they launch and look crystal clear. I think the desktop itself may be launching through something other than the graphics card? It is like choosing between valium and acid on this one. Please help me!  I am using an HDMI cable.. SRock B365M Pro4 Motherboard.. 4096MB ATI Radeon RX470 Graphics Sapphire/PCpartner.. Windows 10.. Anyway if you all could please help me with this I would appreciate it. Thank you.

heya no i dont have that slider in my notification area, is that for brightness?

Yes it is. Are you using a external monitor?

I am not pawning you off to google, but here are some options depending on your set-up.
