Why disabling/deleting AMD External Events Client Module causes graphic artifacts??

I understood that the module is for hotkeys. If that's its only function, why would the installer even install it if you select the 'Driver only' option? Since I don't use Adrenalin, this module is unnecessary for me, but I still have to keep it installed because if I disable or remove it, in any game, strange artifacts appear in the lower third of the screen. Disabling or deleting it also degrades performance by about 50-150 fps, depending on the game and settings. Does anyone know why disabling or deleting the module causes such behavior? Does the module have some other functions in graphics? I haven't found anything conclusive on Google yet.

It's just spyware. Keeps quering everything about your system and your activity in it, sends it to to ROOT\AMDLOG\0000 (AMD Crash Defender my ass LOL!).

I don't know how they get away with it.
