It's not in the 'Home' section. There is a Software & Driver section in System but it only shows the versions. I don't see a way to update. The ability to check for updates in the old software was removed too after I updated it in early November.
I do not use a download manager and I'm using Windows Defender. I have had some very odd problems with my audio drivers several times in the past so perhaps it has something to do with that. I wish AMD would share what events would cause the removal of the update section in the software.
I looked on the website for screenshots and found one with 'Driver & Software' on the home screen of the app, but it's missing from mine.
I tried doing a clean install of the drivers (19.12.3) and got error 1603, then followed the steps at https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-kb1603 . AMD Cleanup Utility fixed error 1603 but did not restore the ability to update in app. I followed the rest of the steps without error. I did another clean reinstall of the drives including a reset of user settings, and the ability to check for updates in the software is still missing.
