Yesterday I updated the GPU drivers to the 24.9.1 version, and every game runs perfect as usual. However, when I played League of Legends for the first time with my friends after this update, the FPS is capped at 60 when my screen has a fresh rate of 144; it looks weirdly smooth lol.
I have tried different methods shared on Youtube and Reddit... Basically everything is related to the V-Sync, which I have already deactivated and activated as well to see if it works.
I have also checked if this update came with a different GPU configuration, but it is basically the same as I left it. Idk what's going on; Idk if it is even a problem with the latest drivers or with my PC or something.
Please help me out!

This happened to me, too.
I reinstalled both the software and driver and that solved it.
When I only installed the driver, it was still stuck at 60fps.
Hi Rotala,
Yeah, I tried that as well but nothing seems to work tbh.
Luckily, I write a ticket to Riot Games Support, and they provide me with a resolution towards my case. Thank you so much anyway for responding and for your attention.
This just happen to me. I've solve it. When I finished update the driver, it seem Radeon Chill is turn on and capped FPS to 60. I turn it off and it's work! Hope this help.
I know you fixed your issue but i'd like to give some help to eventual people encountering this same problem.
I fixed it by going in AMD software adrenaline edition, in the section GAMING then in GRAPHICS find the option
Wait for Vertical Refresh and set it to Always off.
That solved it for me, hope this can help someone.
