I am attempting to get drivers running on my HP Pavilion DV6 with Ubuntu 14.04. However, whenever I install FGLRX the computer hangs at startup on a screen that looks like the stock Ubuntu 14 background. It works perfectly fine without FGLRX or the drivers but I would like to do some light gaming. The relevant hardware is as follows:
AMD A6 3400m
AMD Radeon HD 6520g
Please don't give any stupid answers such as "Look it up" or "Try reinstalling", I have tried that and I have searched for about 3 hours for an answer. Any help would be appreciated.
