Trying to find a setting that is turned off after new driver install

I've been trying to play Helldivers 2 but have been having crashing problems (within minutes of game load). I've tried playing with the graphical settings, compatibility mode, running as admin, etc. to no avail. The game did work one time for the entire play session (4ish hours) and that was right after I updated to the new driver version 24.2.1 and the installer said something about a setting or configuration being reset or turned off or disabled or something like that until reboot, at the end of the install. I didn't take much notice since I thought it was the driver that fixed the issue. But it appears whatever that setting was is the key, but I don't remember what it is!!!

Does anyone know what the driver install process might have disabled or turned off or reset or similar?

Thank you for your help!

System info:

Mobo: MSI MPG Z790 CARBON WIFI

CPU: Intel i7 13700kf

GPU: AMD 7900XTX

OS: Win 10

I doubt it turned anything off however if it said so someone might have also gotten the prompt. Thank you for the system info. I would go get DDU or AMD Cleanup Utility, both work well, and use whichever one to remove the drivers completely. Then I would restart the computer and run the 24.2.1 installer again.

It could easily be that the drivers did not install properly.

Guys, I have a 7800xt and that's what I did. In adrenaline, I set the core frequency to 2200 MHz and fixed fps 65-75 in the radeon chill. Thus, the gpu load in the game is 70-80%. I played all day yesterday and there was not a single crash

Thank you for the possible feedback guys! I've tried both options with no success, still crashing. Though I found a note from the game devs saying they're aware of an issue with 7000 series cards and are working with AMD to investigate.
