Was updating Radeon drivers on my machine and discovered a problem with latest drivers and HTC Vive support, everything works fine on Adrenalin driver 21.8.2 and before, but from Adrenalin driver 21.9.1 onward, HTC Vive support is broken, giving the following error: Headset Display Disconnected - "Please make sure your video cables are securely connected. The headset's display was not found. (see attached photo)
Nothing is wrong with my cables, I have tried two. I have updated HTC Vive software, entirely up to date, my Chipset drivers are entirely up to date, the problem is easily reproducible, just install Adrenalin driver 21.8.2 or earlier and everything is fine, anything newer than that driver breaks support. DDU is of no help. Windows is up to date, clearly something changed between 21.8.2 and 21.9.1 that breaks HTC Vive support, it doesn't matter if the HTC Vive is plugged into Display Port or HDMI, it will NOT work post 21.8.2 driver. How am I the first person to encounter this?
