Radeon settings not working

Hello community,

today, i buy Sapphire pulse Radeon RX Vega 56 8G HMB2. I do anything (install any drivers 18.12.2, 18.13.2 and other stuff like audio drivers, support wizard, Radeon settings, uninstall them in safe mode with AMD utility) but still cant open Radeonsettings.exe, everything on screen is more black/dark then usual (without drivers etc.). Games work good, but they are too dark.

This worked for me. I copied the C:\Program Files\AMD\CNext folder to my desktop. Inside that folder I drilled down into the CNext sub-folder and executed ‘RadeonSettings.exe’. Voila, up popped the ‘Radeon Overlay’ giving access to all the driver goodies. If, for whatever reason, like for example after a re-boot, you need to restart the Radeon Overlay, execute ‘RadeonSettings.exe’ once again in the desktop folder and, yup, the Overlay works again. All of your settings will remain the same even after a re-execution. Sorry, but the “right click your desktop and click Radeon Settings’ option still won’t work, but at least you can gain access to the Radeon Overlay this way. A nice simple solution verified by re-booting my system – Alt R will work after the re-boot as long as you re-execute the desktop folder ‘Radeonsettings.exe’. BTW, my card is an RX 580 running Adrenalin v.19.4.3-apr22 on Win 10 IP 18875.  Good luck!
