I'm tired. amd radeon hd 6850 doesnt work correctly

I searched the whole Internet, tried everything I could. I have an asus hd 6850 1gb graphics card. But there is no load on it and the built-in graphics of the intel duo quad q9300 processor works. I know how to switch from internal to external, but this requires the 'POWER' section in the amd catalyst program, but I just don't have it. SOMEONE HELP, ADMINS, SO THAT YOU BURN IN HELL!

First your HD 6850 is a very old Non-Supported AMD GPU card.

If you want to assign the GPU card to run specific apps or programs you need to go to Windows Settings - Graphic and select the app you want to run with the GPU card then select "HIGH PERFORMANCE" which is your GPU card and not your Intel IGPU.

Here are the last 2 AMD drivers for your HD 6850 GPU Card: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-hd/amd-radeon-hd-6000-series/amd-radeon-hd-6850

I've done this setup before and now I've done it again, nothing has changed. I don't even have a video card displayed in the task manager, although the video card is displayed in the device manager in the video adapter section.

Have you made the change in motherboard bios settings to initialize the gpu as display from.

The cpu has no graphics, so must have a motherboard graphics chip.

My PC- Ryzen 5 5600x, B550 aorus pro ac, Hyper 212 black, 2 x 16gb F4-3600c16dgtzn kit, NM790 2TB, Nitro+RX6900XT, RM850, Win.11 Pro., LC27G55T.

I checked the bios, the only setting that is there is the initiate graphic adapter - peg/pci or pci/peg. I tried both, nothing changed, I posted below, it turns out I only use 10/1000mb, I don't know what's wrong with that

The reason why Radeon HD 6850 Series is not displayed because they only support WDDM 1.3 not 2.0. That's why couldn't display your GPU temp and etc. on your Task Manager.

And it was also showed "AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series" on Device Manager not HD 6850 because all Radeon HD 6800 Series such as 6850 and 6870 using the same name, and it's okay. Your GPU still running okay. At least you could check on GPU-Z or HWMonitor for temperature check.

You could display the AMD GPU on your task manager only for the Radeon R9 300 Series and up, before that you couldn't display on task manager because the WDDM 2.0 Support on Windows 10 or 11.

I have the exact model with you Radeon HD 6850, and i have another GPU such as Geforce GT 520 and Quadro K420, and they also did not showed up the GPU graphs on task manager. But my Radeon RX 550 showed up because they support WDDM 2.0

Hope this helps you

Only 10/1000 MB is used. I cleaned the video card inside and changed the thermal paste, nothing has changed.
