how do i update the internal amd video card driver?

Unfortunately, the laptop has a built-in amd and when I download the new driver from the site, windows 11 loads the old one. How do I fix this problem without downloading a 3rd party program?

Your graphics may be too old for the newer drivers....who knows?  What driver version does the auto-find give you? The last WHQL driver is 22.3.1

OP should ask on https://www.elevenforum.com/ for options/tutorials available for disabling driver updates from MS within the OS.

My PC- Ryzen 5 5600x, B550 aorus pro ac, Hyper 212 black, 2 x 16gb F4-3600c16dgtzn kit, NM790 2TB, Nitro+RX6900XT, RM850, Win.10 Pro., LC27G55T.

I have also downloaded it manually, I have no doubt that it is the last version, but windows restores all kinds of old versions.

You have to disable Windows Update from changing/updating the graphics drivers:

Common issue. You must prevent Windows Update from changing/installing graphics driver. It wants to install the last WHQL driver...not a 'optional' driver.

Read how to fix that here:

How to stop updates for drivers with Windows Update

Lots of people don't like the idea of 'stopping/delaying' Windows updates. I won't get in to that. Here is a way to prevent Windows Update installing any drivers. This does not effect the security, quality,  patch, or any other type update...they are presented as normal.

In short...you don't have to worry about WU installing (changing) AMD graphics drivers.

This is done through group policy:

Type gpedit in the search bar...follow > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update

On the right side scroll to Do not include drivers with Windows Update policy and double click it. Select the ENABLED option.

Click 'Apply' then OK.

Reboot your computer.

With laptops you do not update the graphics chip...you update the APU. That updates both the internal and discrete (if applicable) graphics chips.

You are looking for 'processors with graphics"

I'm downloading using AMD Auto-Detect and Install Tool isn't it the same thing?  Does amd find the wrong driver?
