after updating Adrenalin 22.11.2 to 23.2.1 under Windows 10 (PowerColor RX 6900 XT Red Devil)

i have the problem that Dying Light 2 no longer works. The game kicks me to the desktop after launch.

Some errors are displayed in the log file.

FATL: [D3D12] VALIDATE_HR FAILED Error code 0x887a0005 (Die GPU-Geräteinstanz wurde angehalten. Verwenden Sie GetDeviceRemovedReason, um die erforderliche Aktion zu bestimmen.) 

I then reinstalled Adrenalin v.22.11.2 again and DL2 works again, but when I start Dying Light 2 I always get the message.

I have not tested other games.

I Googled "Dying Light 2 stopped working"  to see if I could find any useful info and it came back with "About 515,000,000 results (0.98 seconds)"

I've never seen a game with so many issues, where do you start?

Not seen any issue on 3 gameplay/starts with 23.2.1, that's single player (not co-op).

Did you clean install (factory reset) driver?

Thank you for your answers. Today I installed the 23.2.1 driver again, but the problem persists.

I uninstalled all drivers and amd software and then adrenaline 23.2.1 with factory reset yes.

About the system:

PowerColor Radeon RX 6900 XT Red Devil Active

I5 12400K

32GB DDR4 3600 RAM

GIGABYTE B660M board

Windows 10 Pro 22H2

I then started Returnal and it started shortly, but was closed immediately.

I then uninstalled everything on AMD drivers/software again and then installed 22.11.2 against Adrenaline. Now everything works.

Hello,

Today I installed the update from 22.11.2 to Adrenalin 23.2.2.

And now everything is working as usual again.

So yes the update 23.2.1 caused the problems.
