Coil Whine caused from Memory Clock Peaking

Hello everyone. Very happy with my MSI 6650XT (Gaming X) performance and software wise but I have this annoying coil whine.

I found the cause by Adrenaline Record Desktop.

When I had it on, my card was buzzing all the time. Opened GPUz to see what happens when its on and its the memory clock.

When Desktop Record off, memory clock falls and buzz stops.

Happens in games too but not all the time probably because memory clock doesn't peak all times.

(I will test more now that I know the problem)

Since this is a hardware issue, about the only thing you can do is change the speed of the fans that generate the coil whine. If it's not from the fan, but an electronic component, then you can try returning GPU for another. Not sure if RMA is possible for coil whine, but maybe, if it is past return window.
