AMD A10-5800K stops working after upgrade to CentOS build 514

I have been a big supporter of CentOS on AMD for a long time and am pretty frustrated by this one problem server that suddenly stopped working after a kernel update.

The server is based on MSI MS-7721/A55M-E33 (MS-7721), BIOS V32.8 12/12/2014 with an AMD A10-5800K working with CentOS Linux (3.10.0-327.18.2.el7.x86_64) but it will not boot with any of the subsequent updates.
I have also tried to boot each of the latest iso distributions for CentOS Linux (3.10.0-xxx.el7.x86_64)  from the CentOS official mirrors using isos on CD.

They all crash before it starts the install.

Same with Alpine and the latest Ubuntu. They start the install and crash within seconds after starting.

On other servers, I have the latest CentOS running on

Micro-Star International Co., Ltd MS-7B38/A320M PRO-VD PLUS (MS-7B38), BIOS 1.50 01/29/2018 with AMD Ryzen 3 1200 Quad-Core Processor

Compaq-Presario GC666AA-ABA SR5152NX/IVY, BIOS  5.06 04/18/2007 with an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+

HP-Pavilion RK572AAR-ABA a1700n/NODUSM3, BIOS  5.07 03/19/2007 with an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+

Any known ways to get the AMD A10-5800K to run the latest CentOS (or any Linux)?

Will changing the motherboard help this?

I have movies of the screen showing the boot working with CentOS 7 build 327 and not working with the later updates if that would help narrow down the problem.
